Silvio Interlandi
CELLO
Silvio Interlandi, cellist, has performed with most of the major orchestras in his native Brazil, and under the baton of esteemed conductors such as Michael Tippet, John Cage, Eleazar de Carvalho and Aldo Parisot.
Having arrived in the USA in 1991, he studied at Yale University, the University of Illinois and the University of Hartford.
As an active performer throughout Connecticut, he has played with many of the orchestras in the region, as well as giving numerous chamber music performances as founder of the Interlandi String Quartet.
Mr. Interlandi is also the Chamber Music Director at Lauralton Hall and teaches in Greenwich and New Haven.
