  Rachel Matz
  Soprano Rachel Matz earned her Bachelor of Music degree with an opera emphasis from Stetson University, where she studied with Dr. Lloyd Linney and Dr. Anthony Hose. She went on to receive her Master’s degree in Music from the Boston Conservatory with an emphasis in musical theater and music theory, taking lessons with Flo St. Jean, William Casey, and Fran Charnas.

Recent credits include Angelina in Trial by Jury, Magda in La Rondine, Sidonie in Roberta, and Miranda in the world premier of Dana Brayton’s All Lost to Prayers; the latter in which she was commended for her strong, expansive voice" by David Cleary of the New Music Connoisseur.

Rachel is a soloist with the United Congregational Church in Bridgeport , CT , and is represented by Choirs Unlimited.
